Halloween
Halloween started with turnips. Families in Ireland and Scotland carved them into lanterns long before anybody tried a pumpkin, and kids went guising door to door for treats. A few centuries later we have candy corn, Michael Myers, and a Peanuts kid who spends the whole night in a pumpkin patch. This hub covers all of it, from the Celtic roots to the late show.
